Our feeble frames were not built to withstand the crushing weight of our guilt. For this reason, many have preferred to believe there are no consequences for our actions. We can do as we will, and there is no God to hold us accountable. But then, where is justice? If no price is paid by the perpetrator of sin, does the victim of sin suffer alone? God is. He is our justice. Because we can’t carry the weight of our guilt, or our suffering at the hands of others’ guilt, He intervenes. #postabortionhealing @preparearoom

The pro choice voice clamors for the rights of women but does not allow for those whose exercise of those rights has left them deeply wounded. Not to mention the trampling of the rights of the unborn child. They are deeply invested in denying the hurt caused by abortion. This denial permeates our society and is one of the very first hurdles for the hurting parent to overcome. Yes, post abortion trauma is real. Yes, you are experiencing something valid. Yes, you can talk about it. Yes, others have been there. Yes, you have a path of grieving and processing lying before you. And yes, you can find peace and healing. First step: break the voice of denial. #postabortionhealing @preparearoom
